About The Cord Blood Education Center
The Cord Blood Education Center is a resource developed and supported by a collaboration of experts in newborn stem cell preservation to advance the recommendations and guidance of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences on cord blood education. The goal of the Cord Blood Education Center is to make sure all expectant parents have the information they need to make an informed decision with their caregiver and loved ones regarding their newborn’s cord blood stem cell.
The content on this site was provided by Cord Blood Registry and has been reviewed by more than 8,000 medical professionals including some of the leading experts in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Stem Cells, and Cord Blood Banking.
